CIRCLES [IX] 1

                 YASH   CLASSES

                          CIRCLES

1. If two chords of a circle are equal , then their
       Corresponding arcs .
  2.   Prove that the perpendicular bisectors of two
chords of  a circle intersect at its centre .

   3. There is only and only one circle passing
         Through three non collinear points.

   4. If two circles  intersect in two points prove that
The  line  through  the  centers is the
perpendicular bisectors  of the common chord.

5.Find the length of the chord which is 5 cm form
the center of a circle of radius  13 cm .

  6. PQ and RS are two  parallel chords of a circle
Whose centre is O and radius is 10 cm . If
PQ = 16 cm and RS = 12 cm find the distance
between PQ and RS if they lie , (i) on the same
side of the center O.  (II) on opposite  side
       of the center O .

  7. In a circle of radius 5 cm and equal chords such
That 6 cm . Find the length of the chord BC.

  8. In fig l is  a line interesting the two concentric
circles  whose  common  center  is O at  the
       points A, B,C and D show that AB = CD .

 9. If one side of cyclic quadrilateral is placed then
exterior angle is equal to the opposite angle?

10.If sum of any pair of opposite angles of a
quadrilateral is 180° then the quadrilateral
      is cyclic .maths 9th
