     1. A  square  and  a  rectangular field  with  measurement  as given in the figure have  the  

         same perimeter . which field has a larger area ?

         square side = 60 m    and     rectangle field  L = 80 m    &   B=  60 m

    2. The diagonal of a rhombus are 7.5 cm and 12 cm . Find the area of the field  ?

    3. The floor of a building consist  of 3000 tiles  which  are  rhombus  in shape and  each  of

        diagonal are 45 cm and 30 cm in length . Find the total cost of polishing the floor  if

        the cost  per m² is Rs 4.

   4.Find the side of the cube whose surface area is  600 cm² .

  5.Find the height of cylinder  whose volume is  1.54 m³ .and diameter of the base is 140 cm ?

  6. An electric pole 14 m high casts a shadow  of 10 m . Find the height of a tree that casts a 

       shadow  of 15 m under similar condition.

  9. A loaded truck travels 14 km in 25 minutes. If  the speed remains the same how far can it

      travel in 5 hours ?

 10.A machine  in a soft drink factory fills 850   bottles . How many bottles will it fill in 10

       hours ?
