                c.     f(x)  =   8u ²  +  8u

 

                d.     f(x)  =    x² + 10x +  7

 

                e.    f(x)  =    x²  - (√3 + 1 ) x +  √3

 

             2.  If  α  and  β  are  the  zeros  of  the  

                  polynomials  f(x)  =   x² - 5x +  k   such     

                 that   α – β  = 1 find  the  value  of  k .

 

            3. If  α  and  β  are  the  zeros  of  the  

               polynomials  f(x)  =   x² - 7x -  k   such    

               that   α – β  =  2 find  the  value  of  k .

              4. If  α  and  β  are  the  zeros  of  the  

                  polynomials  f(x)  =  a x² + bx +  c  .

                 find   

                  a.    α²  +  β²            b.  1 / α²  +  1 / β²

                 c.    α²  -   β²             d. 1 / α²  -  1 / β²

 

            5. Find   all zeros of the  polynomials

                  x³ - 4x²  -7x + 10 it  being  Given 

               that  two  if  its zeros are  5 and  - 2 .
